Hi and welcome to this auction for an Isuzu TROOPER Bighorn, this is the rarer "Lotus" edition which has the tweeked suspension, Lotus momo steering wheel and a few badges scattered here and there to advertise the fact! So you can say you drive a Lotus 4 x 4 if you like...!
As far as I understand it"s a "93 model first regstered in June 2000.
Anyway; I bought this a few months back with best intentions of doing all those little jobs that needed doing, broken rear door handle, engine sump leak, change filters etc. etc.!
However we"ve had our head turned by a swb Landrover that will probably suit our needs better so in all reality I"m not going to get round to doing the TROOPER.
Bodywork wise it"s actually not too disgraceful for it"s age, a few bumps and scrapes here and there and the odd rust blister which needs attending too sooner rather than later in my view. The engine pulls well and the autobox changes seamlessly. It is the more desireable trustworthy 3.1 beast of an engine which seems to be in good order. The speedo shows 199 thou however I beleive as this is an import this will be in kilometers so actually it"s approx. 123, 000 miles. The speedo does read in mph but it was common to convert these to uk spec with a new display but the odometers being mechanical were left in kms.
It is Mot"d until the latter half of February 2016 but for me the engine oil leak needs attending to asap as it was advised on the last MOT certificate. As seen in the photo I have got several new filters which will go with the car to the successful  purchaser.
Seating wise it does appear as though it was a seven seat model and someone, (not me!) has removed the rear two seats, they are available on Ebay from breakers if you want to replace them and have the option for the 7 seats as they simply bolt in place. Driver"s seat has gone thread bear and torn so again you could either replace it or put seat covers on?
It does have alloy wheels fitted, tyres are probably 30 -40%, spare is a better approx. 70 - 80% but odd rim? See photos.
