Here I am selling my lwb Isuzu TROOPER.
This was originally a 3.0 TROOPER but has been converted to the slightly older but more reliable 3.1 Isuzu engine taken from an older shape TROOPER. The 3.1 is an old school diesel engine which has no electrics to go wrong. The engine was changed by a garage who do these swaps on a regular basis. The engine was swapped just before i purchased the car and at the same time the cam belt was changed. It is still documented as being a 3.0 on the V5.
The mot expires on 28th June 2015. It passed the last test with no problems the only advisory being a perished tyre which have all now been replaced.
Whilst in my ownership it has had new discs and pads at the rear, a new alternator belt and a recently a new battery. I Have changed the oil every 3500 miles.
The tyres are only 6 months old and cost me £400. I still have the original alloys which the winning bidder can have though 2 of them could do with a refurb.
Due to the conversion the air-con and the rev counter do not work. Also the oil pressure gauge works in reverse. The mast has snapped in the electric aerial so this has been disconnected to stop it whirring.
During the time I have had this it has never let me down and has always started on the button with no smoke. The 4wd works fine and there is no rust on the chassis. Everything works as it should (apart from the things mentioned above) and it has been a very useful vehicle to own but it is hardly getting used now and we have no room to keep it.
There is only 1 key.
It says on the reg document it was registered/used overseas but it was first registered in this country in 1999.
The vehicle is sold as seen and tested so I recommend that you view the vehicle before bidding.
Please remember this vehicle is 16 years old so it does have the odd mark etc. In my opinion it is in good condition.
I need this vehicle gone as soon as possible so please check you can insure it and pay for it before you start bidding.
