Here we have my UK Impreza Wagon for sale! Here it is warts and all……
MOT’d  till 5th December 2016 – had n/s/f cv boot fitted and brake pedal rubber to pass.
6 previous owners – I’m the 7th
I purchased the vehicle early 2013 to move materials and tools around locally and has only been used at the weekend.
 
The vehicle has very low mileage and can be verified from the previous MOT’s.
 
I purchased the vehicle as a non-runner due to a water pump leak which I replaced along with the cambelt and tensioner kit. After repair the vehicle had a bad hesitation that the previous owner forgot to list, that turned out to be the fuel pump so I replaced it with a walbro. The vehicle has had an oil and filter every year with me but no service history comes with it. It drives very well.
 
The vehicle has a very strong engine and turbo, whilst replacing the water pump I replaced the plugs after carrying out a compression test – an equal 170 psi on all cylinders. The engine would be a good donor.
Engine and Gearbox– excellent.
Chassis – o/s/f abs ring required, light is on but only because I’ve pulled the fuse. With the fuse in the light isn’t on but the ABS will occasionally operate when not required whilst heavy braking.  Getting ready for front discs and pads. Suspension bushes perishing. Front Brake pipes showing signs of corrosion.  Front tyres getting ready, rears 4mm.
Exterior – Tatty, every panel has some sort of damage by scrape, corrosion, dents etc. n/s/f door is off colour, all 4 corners have scraps or repair. o/s/r rear quarter is showing signs of corrosion. Lacquer peeling off the bonnet vent. Badge missing off the front grill. o/s headlight washer jet knocked off. n/s/f wing has some surface rust. o/s repeater cracked, o/s/r light unit has a crack but all ok for mot.
Interior – Dirty but has been cleaned to a reasonable standard. It has been used as a work horse for carrying materials and tip runs. Gear gaiter loose. Some slight marks and knicks all over. SRS light is on due to a steering wheel change to a momo, the light is covered over so can’t be seen. The original steering wheel will be left in the car. It has a boost gauge and turbo timer fitted by me. A/C inop and the pump has been disconnected.
I suppose there is 3 good options for this car, you could donor the engine into something else and scrap the rest, use it as I have done as a workhorse – many more years to go or make it look better and it will be a sound car.
I’ve included everything I know about in the description so if you find something else then I can’t offer a refund – I am a qualified motor vehicle technician so have a reasonable idea what I’m on about.
