vehicle description:

My beloved Trooper has failed its MOT and I do not have the time to do the welding.
The engine and running gear are sound but the bodywork needs attention. I have included pictures of the main structural fail - both sides of the rear floor along the wheel arches.
Good bits:
The car has been in my family since new.
Full service history to 2002 (93,458) then home serviced
New engine fitted 2002 (91,868)
New turbo fitted 2003 (94,866)
New fuel tank and alternator 2006 (117,411)
New exhaust system 2007 (134,257)
Interior fairly tidy
Engine runs beautifully from start.
Electric window (rear left is broken)
Breaks work fine.
Clutch fine.
Gearbox and transmission all quiet.
Radio works.
After market tints behind B pillars
Locking wheel nuts (one missing)
Never smoked in.
Car comes with a roof rack as I can’t get it off.
 
Not so good bits:
MOT FAILURE
Extensive exterior tin worm.
Holes along seams on rear floor pan
Holes in both rear wheel arches
Starter motor fairly noisy
Front tyres low on tread (MOT fail)
Spare tyre does not hold air (rim is OK)
The rear seats and belt have been removed as I have been using the car as a truck. All are back in the car but not bolted in.
From April the car had been SORN declared.
I would strongly suggest anyone interested come to see the car before bidding. The car is in Cambridge. Cash on collection only.
