first registered in 1993, previous owner imported it in 2005
mechanically looked after and not abused.
Fundamentally nothing wrong with this truck, all the significant aspects working well
underside rust protected, no leaking fluids, rumbles or knocks coming from the running gear,
4x4 fully operational and smooth, engine still strong and very reliable, 3.1 turbo diesel with average mpg.
Auto box with overdrive faultless.
milometer in klms, speedo in mph,
slight oversized tyres suggest your going faster than speedo reads.
so if you convert the klm"s to mph the true mileage is about average, the speedo reading,
much like the lotus handling pack, pretty irrelevant, it"s rather slow.
good AT tyres all round includes unused spare.
It"s a bit tatty with rust to door capping"s and roof rack, but no panel damage and cleans up better
than expected, you can assess the body from the pics.
there"s a short list of minor issues to mention:
intermittent wiper setting works only occasionally
steering is a bit vague
a/c needs gas (don"t they all)
central locking manually.
Immobilizer/alarm fitted and working.
all in all a strong useful truck that"s reliable and in fair nick for the year.
I bought this machine mainly to tow and launch boats, and carry fishing gear, but my own
situation has changed and I can no longer justify two vehicles whilst trying to save a house deposit.
