I have decided to try and sell my Jaguar XK8 coupe which I have owned for the last eight years and now owning two other cars and being retired three cars don"t get a lot of use.I"ve owned this longer than any other car simply because it"s been the best and now only considering selling because it"s gets used the least and seems a waste just sitting in the garage.
As for the vehicle, it has been regularly serviced (more frequently) than the book dictates because it doesn"t get a lot of mileage put on it on an annual basis. During my ownership the only thing to go wrong apart from batteries, and failed lamps was an ignition coil failing and as it is reasonably easy to fix I did it myself and replaced all eight, so I"ve got seven spare ones if the new owner wants. Apart from that it all seems a bit boring as I have nothing to report on things going wrong and the money I"ve spent on her, so apart from the above nothings gone wrong.
It has factory specified Pirelli P Zero tyres all round, the wheels are original, never been refurbed (don"t need it) Wood rim steering wheel, electrochromatic folding heated mirrors which works perfectly, parking sensors, the air con is perfect the seats are not worn or seated and I have SORN it off the road two months ago due to lack of use and is garaged where it has always been and as the previous owner also kept it garaged. it has had satellite tracking fitted and professional Supagood car care technology, which is a special finish on the bodywork.
If it doesn"t sell on this insertion I will leave it till next spring and will try again then with a then new MOT.
