GRAND Cherokee LPG.
Been a great old Jeep for us; never missed a beat; the engine has to be heard to be appreciated, a lovely smooth six pot; auto box is smooth, and does everything it should, and of course, the transfer case works as it should.
This Jeep has been professionaly gas converted, and has, untill the demise of the changeover switch, ran beautifully on both gas and petrol; the vapouriser was renewed a year ago.
Tyres are all legal, and should do you a while.
Oil has been changed every 4000 miles; I am a believer in keeping the Life blood clean.
Side steps fitted, but the sills above the steps...see pic, have started to rust, and discoulour the steps.....Autosol brings this off.
We bought this Jeep with a noisy back axle four years ago; I did buy a replacement back axle, but the garage told me that it is only a rear right bearing that has gone; this is evident by the oil leak at the rear right inner wheel......the axle never got changed; the noise has got worse; and for us, that is the end of the line for this Jeep......easier to buy another; I even have the wheel bearing to be fitted.
When the MOT expired, we parked it up, and bought another.
I recon this is an easy project for someone who has the time and inclination; odd, how as we get older, we get rid of vehicles that we would once of seen as a great project, at a good price.
Jeep is being sold as spares or repair for all the above reasons; up to you as to how you take it away.
I recomend viewing; there are scratches and marks that are to be expected for an old work horse, there is the usuall rust on the front edge of the bonnet; she has not been washed or valleted, she has stood for a while, though I took her round the block a week ago, and she was fine....you see in the pics, just what you are buying.
I don"t want PayPal, it costs too much.
Buyer to make a deposit on close of sale, and collect within one week of close of sale, if you don"t turn up to collect, the deposit is none refundable; this makes sure you are a genuine buyer.
