This car will make a great project for any Jaguar enthusiast. When it was fully working it was a lovely car to drive. I have been informed that the car will be fairly labour intensive in order to restore it back to its former glory however not too expensive on parts. At present I would be cautious about driving the car. There are a number of faults however firstly I will mention the positive faactors:*Refurbished gear box costing £2250 in April 2015*4 new tyres, pads, disc and an arm on the rear passenger side (costing around £1000 between May and July 2016)*104,000 miles*New oil and filter change in August 2016
Problems:*Temperature gauge - very high engine temperature when the engine is in fact cool relating to incorrect messages being sent to the thermostat*Lots of stalling and juddering when the revs get too low - I have been informed that this is attributed to a miss fire *Battery drain problem - I have been informed that this can take time to solve through a process of elimination.
The car is currently parked in the lay bay above the Aberystwyth University campus.
It is not really drivable in its current state and also will probably require jump leads to get started however I could drop it off within the Aberystwyth area however I do have Green Flag cover and will get it delivered immediately to your home address providing you live close to Aberystwyth (providing payment is made before delivery commences)
