2004 Jaguar X-Type 2.0 Sport Diesel
I have owned the car for a little over a year and have used it daily for my long commute since purchasing it with no problems! I"d still be using it now if I hadn"t got a company car.All in all this is a nice, cheap runaround. It"d be nice to see it go to a good home!
The good bits:
- Extremely cheap to run - 52mpg average at the minute!- HEATED WINDSCREEN - Amazing when you"re running late on a frosty morning- Heated front seats- Electric folding wing-mirrors - Engine and gearbox are sweet! No knocks or bangs at all
- Interior is excellent condition! (apart from the driver"s side seat bolster which is split)
- The boot is enormous!
- MOT"d in December with the only advisories being the tyres (since been replaced)
The bad bits:
-The bodywork, while there are no dents/dings or rust to be seen, could use some attention. The paintwork is showing it"s age and has had some poor quality paint on the bumpers (please see pictures)
- The air conditioning doesn"t work at the minute - haven"t tried re-gassing it because I only tried to use it again a week or so before I stopped using it
- Sometimes it takes a couple of attempts for it to start, I had the starter motor replaced and it seemed fine after but it"s started up again. I"ve been told it might be the flywheel so I"ve included one with the car
