Here is a 2001 JaguarXJ8 Executive in exceptional clean and tidy condition.  Green with oatmeal leather interior.  Everything works as it should, and the gearbox has just been overhauled following the usual A-drum failure.  MOT till February.  Tax has now expired but with new DVLA rules the tax can no longer be passed on with the car once it is sold.   It has all the usual refinements, air con (working), climate control, cruise control, traction control, automatic lights, automatic wipers, 6-stack CD player in the boot, in-car telephone (just insert your sim card), reverse parking sensors, remote control central locking, encrypted key transponder immobiliser, airbags.  I have some history with the car but it is by no means complete.  There is also a full size spare tyre.   Good Points   Externally the car is excellent showing absolutely no rust whatsoever – the wheelarches are all good and I have tried to show these as well as I can.  I spent a lot of time under the car fitting the gearbox and the underside is all solid.  The alloys are excellent.   Leather interior is good with only a small amount of age related wear on the drivers seat that you would expect.   Mechanically the engine is smooth and quiet, the transmission has just been rebuilt and it drives superbly.  I have also just replaced the spark plugs and antifreeze.     Bad Points   The last MOT advised some items that allegedly require attention, but to be honest I can see no significant fault with any of these.  I suspect the MOT garage may have been trying to get some work.   The two rear tyres are coming towards the end of their life, although still legal they will need replacing soon.  I will try to get some replacements before the car is sold and I will update the listing if I do that.     I highly recommend coming to see the car before you buy as your opinion may not be the same as mine.  It isn’t perfect and there are a very few marks that you would expect on a thirteen year old car.  Cash on collection within seven days of listing end unless otherwise agreed.
