vehicle description:

2001 JaguarXJ8 Executive 3.2 V8 petrol auto in British Racing Green with cream leather interior and genuine walnut trim.  128,700 miles on the clock.  The car has been used daily until earlier this year and has an MOT until 30 September 2015.  Full service history.
 
The pictures show the vehicle with my private plate but this is not being sold with the vehicle.  The vehicle will bear registration mark AV51 RYJ and the replacement V5 is already with me.
 
Before the next MOT test the car will need a nearside track rod end; a replacement front lower ball joint; a nearside front coil spring and a front offside wheel bearing.  Also, occasionally, there is some loss of coolant causing the coolant low light to come on.
 
There is some rust on door edges, wheel arches and the underside but no holes.  The interior has a sagging roof lining which needs to be replaced.
 
Date of first registration was 28 September 2001 and I am only the second keeper having acquired the vehicle on 1 December 2003.
 
In 2011 the rear bumper was damaged when hit from behind.  Due to the cost of repair versus the market value of the car, it was technically notified on the V5 as substantially repaired.  I liked the car so much that I used the insurance settlement to have the vehicle repaired by Marshalls of Peterborough who fitted a new rear bumper and I have been running the car since then.  After the repair a full VOSA check was undertaken and the V5 re-issued.  HPI checked.
 
Thus, this car is being offered for sale with the intention that the buyer repairs it prior to the next MOT or uses it for spares.  PayPal payment in full before collection.  Collection only.  No returns.
