I recently purchased this vehicle after wanting one for years, this is my 5th Car along with some other classics, i was planning to store the car away and make some money as they increase in value. Unfortunately i made a bad judgement on just how much room was required to store such a large car.
The car has been amazing i am sad to see it go, it purrs along and sounds amazing with the exhaust system installed. I was expecting a big heavy old automatic, like an old Ford Granada type car but was mistaken when i discovered how smooth these are when i was test driving models.
The sound system has been upgraded to an alpine system with bluetooth and hands free.
I have the original sound system with sat nav included, the car also has the original car phone and breakdown triangle in the boot.
This car is 15 years old and looks amazing clean and in the best colour, there is a few small age related marks as you could expect.
There is a couple of small bits but nothing that effects to much:The Exhaust system randomly sets off the lamba sensor fault code, this comes on randomly and will turn off by the time the car starts again a couple of times.The previous owner was a smoker, i have cleaned the inside but there is still a musky smoke smell there, but nothing unbearable.This is a great example and recommend viewing to appreciate it. Viewing is welcome in Ashford, Kent.
I may be looking for a defender going forward.
