There is lacquer-peel to some of the flat surfaces; a couple of small areas on the bonnet and boot-lid; the most significant lacquer-peel is on the roof. The interior is in decent condition. There is the usual wear to the drivers seat bolster. Again, as is usual for X300"s, the headlining is sagging at the rear but has been pinned up. As shown, there is only one key and one key-fob. The key-fob does not work. The alarm/immobiliser works off the key. All the locks operate. All the electric windows, mirrors and sunroof operate. The switch knob for the mirrors is missing but the switch still operates by moving the "stalk". The electric seats operate correctly. The windscreen wiper is temperamental and often only works on fast. It does not self-park the wiper correctly. This will require a replacement wiper control module to be fitted. The gearbox is strong with no slipping in any gears. The gearbox warning light comes on intermittantly which puts the gearbox in to "limp mode". This is an electrical issue with either the multi-plug or the control module; both easily remedied. New modules are available second-hand. I will try to clean the multi-plug before the auction ends IF I get the time. The exhaust is blowing; ideally a new front pipe needs to be fitted (see MOT History on DVLA website) There is a vintage Jaguar "Leaper" included in the sale. I have removed this and stored inside the car for safety. There are two holes in the bonnet for mounting it. The current V5 is in my own name. LPG Tank Capacity: According to the LPG Conversion Certificate (which is included with the vehicles paperwork), the Capacity is as follows: Toroidal Tank: 70 litre. Cylinder Tank: 70 litre. Therefore TOTAL LPG Capacity is 140 Litres. I"ve been a Jaguar X300 and X308 Owner and Enthusiast since these cars were new. I currently have an X308 XJR which is not for sale. The only reason for sale of this vehicle is that my partner went ballistic about me buying yet another Jag, don"t you get bored of them?. In my humble opinion, this car requires some TLC but is free from major issues. It would benefit from a service and from being used.
