Hi and welcome to the auction of my Jaguar X type....
This car is in excellent condition throughout, it runs and drives exactly as it should. This is a very good example with full documented history.
I only bought this car recently but I am forced to sell due to change in circumstances, this and the missus says that it is too big for her. 
I looked at many of these jags before buying this one, the condition of the car speaks for itself. It has mainly been owned by the same family, the main owner of the car passed away and passed the car onto his son, whom lives in Guernsey. The car was given to a family friend in the motor trade with a sales forecourt, which is where the car came to be in my ownership.
It is in metallic silver with black leather, the bodywork is in excellent condition with only a minor scratch on the drivers side rear corner of the bumper. None of the usual car park dings on this car. The interior is also in excellent condition with only minimal wear expected of a 12 year old car.
I have every owners book plus the original sales brochure from purchasing the car. It spent the majority of its life with a personalised plate and therefore the service invoices show a different registration number, however since the mot certificates show the chassis number this proves that they are for this vehicle.
It spent a lot of time since the passing of it owner doing very little and this has led to one small problem, the mil light is displayed. It was present when I bought the car and the code was checked, the code was P1000. The code was checked on a computer and basically it means that the warning light was displayed because the car had not gone through a proper warming up process on several occasions. Simply put that the car was just being started and stopped being moved about around the car sales forecourt etc.This did not bother me as the car drove so well and I agreed to buy the car, the salesman then told me that the mot had expired. I did not want to mess about back and forth so we came to a deal, I booked the car in for a mot and drove away.... Stupidly being in a hurry I forgot to get the mil light switched off being in a hurry to get to the test station on time.The car sailed through its emission test indicating to me also that there was no problem with the running of it... I have just lived with the light though I will try to get it switched off before the car is sold.
