 For Sale is a Jeep Cherokee (liberty) CRD 2.5 2003.
A very well looked after vehicle with lots of extras and improvements made.
When I bought this Jeep the first thing I did was raise it up on a flat bed at a friends garage, removed all bumpers, wheel arches, wells and any other plastic on the Jeep. Checked for body rot and rust of which there was none.
It was then cleaned with a 200 Degree washer, dried and treated for any surface rust underneath. After this is had a full waxoyl treatment underneath, inside or doors and engine bay including inside the chassis. After this the arches and bumper were put back on.
Its had a 3 suspension lift in the front and back using H&R Coils, a rear spacer on the rear axle and modified body lifts on the front to accomplish 3 of lift.
Its has 16 heavy duty wheels with 245/70 R16 BF Goodrich AT"s (they have only done around 2000 miles and are rated at 50,000).
A front bull bar has been added with Hella 500 spots bolted and wired through the bumper.
New brakes and shocks, all ball joints in rear and front control arms have been changed.
It has extended breather hoses for all main components so it can wade up to the headlights through waters without oil contamination.
A new cam belt has recently been fitted also, air filter, oil change in all comments, oil filter, engine coolant, flue filter, and bearing replacement in rear differential.
All bumpers and arches have been trimmed to allow for maximum clearance when entering or exiting a steep object.
I get on average 30mpg on normal roads and around 34mpg when on the motorway. The engine has been improved to stop carbon build up and drastically improve the 4x4"s life, including better mpg.
Carpets have been removed and rubber mats in place for easy cleaning (a carpet can be bought and installed from a breakers).
The only thing left to do on this Jeep is to replace all 4 shock absorbers simply because they are the originals. They work fine but I"m sure the difference would be felt if they were changed.
There is my honest review, I really like this Jeep and its been well looked after, but life calls for more income and a regular car.
