Jeep Grand CHEROKEE 2.7 CRD LTD. AUTO. The colour is Patriot Blue Metallic. Registered on a 53 plate. First reg date was 26/09/2003. I bought it on 21/09/2011. With about 76,000 miles on the clock with full service history up to this point. And I have loved driving it ever since, I am only selling it as my commute is a little bit longer now and need something a little bit more frugal on the fuel. The current Mileage is 114500 miles. The Jeep has been serviced every 6000 miles by myself using 5w30 part synth and book filled in. The Engine Is the Mercedes 5 Cylinder 2.7CRD unit (better power and torque than the 3.1 diesel), it is chain timed and as long as the oil is kept fresh the chain lasts for ever, hence the 6000 mile intervals. Approx. 5000 miles until next service. It doesn’t put out any smoke and runs beautifully. And has been totally trouble free.   MOT’d On the 8/10/14 Two advisory’s one was a indicator bulb and the other was a drop link bush. The Jeep had a gearbox refurbishment in August 2012. At Approx. 90000 Miles. The box refurbishment was done by Mackies in Glasgow. But the actual swap out work was done by Arnold Clarke Jeep Elgin. At a total cost of £3308.11 (have receipts to prove) L SO THE GEARBOX HAS ONLY DONE 25000 miles since fitting and is smooth as silk on changes. I also have a gearbox dipstick to check the levels. (the gearbox doesn’t have one fitted for running) And there are various spare fluids in the boot for topping up things if needed. In the past year it has had both rear callipers changed and uprated ones with steel pistons fitted from 4play Jeep. Gets rid of the sticking rear phenolic piston issues. Also front left ball joints changed (have spares for the right) and hub retaining bolts changed both sides. Also the drag link and steering bar track rods ends have been replaced. Brakes have just been freshly serviced (stripped cleaned and rebuilt), both front and rear diff’s have just had the oil checked and topped up. Already for winter. Interior………..It is in great condition the Black leather is like new in the back and in great condition in the front. Floors have original fitted mats and the boot has a boot liner and full size spare. Jeep Satnav fitted and the disc present for it. The factory stereo is really good quality and has a great sound. Tilt adjust on steering wheel, electrically adjusted and heated front seats, dual climate control. Trip computer and digital compass. Auto dipping rear mirror. Electrically adjusted side mirrors.  Tinted rear windows. Factory fitted Cat 1 alarm. Exterior……. It has some scratches and marks but nothing to major for a 11 year old Jeep and no visible rust. I wax oiled the underbody when I first got the Jeep and I have never taken the Jeep off road ever. The windows have Henko wind deflectors fitted. The bonnet has a nose guard/wind deflector and fitted (easily removed if disliked). Also the front end has DRL’s fitted and these are only on if the other lights are off. Chrome side bars fitted by me at a cost approx. £400 and look great.  It has a tow bar and has twin electrics for towing that I fitted myself. This was done correctly using a bypass box (the bypass box powers the trailer/caravan lights) and not directly to the wiring loom as it has a canbus wiring system.  I have used it to tow my 440KG kit car only 4 or 5 times and not very far either.  So very light towing use only. Upgrades…. The front end anti-roll bar has polyurethane bushes fitted and so do the drop links. The rear anti-roll bar is an uprated ADDCO bar and bushes I got from the USA. Makes the back end much more stable in the corners. (Have the original if needed) Tyres….. It has Pirelli Scorpion ATR M+S 225/65R17 fitted and are a great wearing tyre 6-7mm left all round. The Rims are ok but could do with a refurbishment soon. It also has a set of Continental Winter contact tyres 225/65R17 (£500 cost new) with 4-5mm (Standard winter fit for Porsche Cayenne) Plus 3 Goodyear Wranglers 225/65R17 (£100 each new) with 4-5mm to match the spare tyre. (No rims for extra tyres)I have a few other pictures that I was unable to list Such as wheel condition and a under body shot. Email me your address and I will send you them if required.
