My wife and I have owned this car for 2 and half years and enjoyed the comfort, power and excellent reliability. Its got a great big boot and the seats go flat to make a huge carrying space.We’ve got bills for lots of upkeep like New discs and pads all round, new exhaust, servicing, a gearbox oil change, a new heater motor regulator and a new battery which I got replaced under warranty last week. The engine light has come on and off for the whole time we’ve owned the car, I’ve tried to diagnose the problems through the codes you can get via the ignition and dash display. The O2 sensors are the culprit and need to be replaced really. I have bought 2 but never got round to doing it. The car runs fine even without fixing these but I’m sure it would run better and perhaps get better fuel economy if done. Currently we’re getting about 18mpg ave. On a run though we’ve got 26+ cruising at 70-ish. The car does have a couple bashes as you can see in the pictures, the one on the boot tailgate was done by a delivery truck turning around in our driveway. The front nearside has been like it since before our ownership. The parking sensors are playing up too due to one sensor being nocked inside the bumper. These haven’t bothered us to be honest as the car has been a workhorse to do the weekly shop, to drive our oldies to the station or the hospital now and again and it was great when we moved house a couple years ago. We’ve done about 7000 miles in 2 and half years and its served us well.The interior is in great condition and the seats..... well the seats are the most comfortable car seats I’ve ever sat on. They are fully electric too with heaters and memory settings so lots of fun to play with. I’ve bought a range rover and its not a patch on the Jeep for power and refinment, the 4.7 litre V8 pulls like a train, the gearbox shifts seemlesly, it just needs a little tlc to make it perfect again. It really is solid with no rusty arches or door edges.
