RE-ADVERTISED DUE TO A TOTAL TIME-WASTER - LIVES ABROAD!!!!!
I am reluctantly selling my Kia Sorento 3.5 V6 XS. Genuine reason for sale!
I have owned it since August 2012 and it has been the best car I have ever owned - full leather, cruise, climate control, 4 x elec windows/elec & folding mirrors/elec sunroof. Compass & alto-meter, Sony cd/radio/MP3.
It has low mileage - just under 84K on the clock (still being used daily until sold so will go up slightly), and is MOT"d until 22nd August 2016 - passed with no advisories. I have nearly all the old MOT certificates.
Upon purchase, it had new break pads all round, a full service (including auto gearbox oil change), timing belts changed (£515.06) and a tow bar fitted, so at least I know it hasn"t been abused by towing horseboxes etc.....I have only ever towed fairly locally.
Last serviced 5th May 2015 including replacing Spark plugs and two new tyres (a bit chunky but all tyres now very good). Starts on the turn every time.
Partial service history (I only do about 4000-4500 miles per year), but lots of receipts. Exhaust has also been replaced since I have owned it.
Both Keys, jack and wheel nut locks. Proper boot liner.
The car is over 11 years old, so please do not expect perfection. I have tried to list all of the niggles I am aware of below:-
1. Clock does not work (common on these apparently) but does have one on the radio!2. Aerial wobbles and doesn"t fully retract. Still allows good radio reception. It was fitted incorrectly by garage (without my agreement) so couldn"t charge me....but better than the snapped one so felt I couldn"t complain either!3. Heated seats have never worked since I"ve owned it- memory/electric movement is fine.4. Minor oil leak on drive/prop shaft which I noticed in July 2014. Our local garage stuck a jubilee clip on it at that time as it was so minor.5. Mileage recorded incorrectly on last MOT (93398 instead of 82094 - aargh). I wrote correct mileage on the certificate when I spotted it and it will correct itself on next test.6. Rear cargo handle broken - still pulls over cargo load area.
Generally the car is in a good overall condition (small patch rust by high-level brake light) no tears to seats....but there are some marks as expected with a car of this age.
It is sensible to Tax (£265? annually), not like the ones a couple of years newer which are £460.
