 Kia Sorento Tiatan top spec model for spares or repairs
We are a garage just outside york and this was one of our customers cars that came in with a broken timing chain. We replaced all three timing chains and found that the engine does run and has 420 psi compresion per cylinder but lacks power. the customer gave us the car instead of payment for the work we carried out as he did not want to spend anymore money on the problem. we have had a quick look at the problem and can see that the inlet flap valve dosent work nor does the turbo actuator. this may not be the only problems so dont take our word for it. may be other under lying issues. There are no fault codes in the ECU. The car has scratches to the body work that might polish out and there is a rattle noise when starting and stopping the engine suspect dual mass flywheel. We are very busy at the moment so we dont have time to investigate further so it has been offered as spares or repairs. good ones of these go for around £7000 starting bid is what it owes us. Car dose run and rive but will need trailing away due to lack of power and no mot
Vehical has no mot and has a few scratches around the paintwork and two small rust spots on the roof near the top of the windscreen
The interia is clean with leather heated seats that work.
