EXTERIOR
This MURCIELAGO is finished in metallic Giallo, wrapped in a clear matte PPF, which captures the cars sharp and aggressive form in all its glory. Thanks to the PPF coating the brilliant shade of yellow sits in good order, with any marks or scratches effecting the protective film rather than the paintwork below.
The sharp and bold Giallo finish is contrasted perfectly by the dark shades of carbon fibre which adorn the front splitter, gaping side intakes and huge Aeropack spoiler. The black Super Veloce graphics sit proudly upon the cars flared arches, just to reassure any unassuming passers by that this is no ordinary Lamborghini.
INTERIOR
The SV may be a lightweight special, but it does not lack any of the luxury of flare that you come to expect from Lamborghini. The bucket seats are upholstered in soft black alcantara, embroidered with contrasting Giallo stitching across their surface. The black and yellow colour scheme is continued throughout the interior with a combination of leather and alcantara spanning the dashboard, headlining and steering wheel.
It’s easy to see how Lamborghini managed to make the SV 100kg lighter than the standard MURCIELAGO, with the door cards, tunnel, centre console and seats all constructed from weight saving carbon fibre.
Overall the interior sits in very good condition, with no clear signs of wear upon the alcantara/leather or across the carbon fibre surfaces.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Turn the key and the MURCIELAGO’s 6.5l V12 immediately barks into life before settling into a purposeful idle. It may have been manufactured under Audi’s supervision but there is nothing sensible about the figures that accompany the glorious sound. With 661 bhp being transferred through all 4 wheels the grip is sensational as it launches you to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds and onward to over 200 mph.
Those figures seem less impressive in today’s world of hybrid Hypercars but the savage roar and relentless torque of the naturally aspirated V12 give the SV a sense of character that its contemporaries have all begun to lose.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 18″ gloss black alloys and tonal yellow calipers complete the eye catching colourway of the MURCIELAGO and sit in pristine condition, with no marks or scuffs in sight. Matching Pirelli P-Zero Tyres still have plenty of tread and ensure the All-wheel drive system can be used with maximum effect.
Huge carbon-ceramic discs may be carried over from the standard MURCIELAGO but because of the SV’s 100kg weight loss, they come with much more feel and bring the car to halt with ease.
HISTORY FILE
First supplied in 2010 to Florida, USA this SV was imported to the UK by its current owner in 2013 having covered just 1k miles.
The history file includes its USA car fax report listing its servicing and ownership record in the USA.
Servicing in the UK has been carried out by the main agent HR Owen with the most recent, an engine out service and clutch replacement at 2770 miles in March 2019 at the cost of over 10k.
It’s currently sat in our showroom ready for a new owner to enjoy during 2020.
