EXTERIOR
Group B wide-arch exotica just doesn’t get any better than this; an immaculate low mileage example that appear to have been garaged from new! The paintwork is excellent, consistent all around the car with a wonderfully rich hue and it is extremely difficult to fault.
Given the cars extremely clean demeanour we doubt its ever been driven in the rain. The front of the car shows only the lightest use – with the odd touched in stone chip on the leading edge of the bonnet. The Hella lights and surrounds are free from any cracks and remain clear free from cloudiness. The original ‘WRC Champions’ sticker still remains as an OEM application in the rear window, with the rest of the glass all matching as ‘Lancia by PPG’. All rubber and plastics can fade and harden in time, but we are pleased to report that all remain soft, supple and clean in keeping with this meticulous example.
INTERIOR
The wheat alcantara interior compliments the bright Monza red body beautifully. The HF embossed Recaro’s are in excellent shape; stunning in contour and condition with no wear on the sensitive drivers bolster. The door cards still retain their factory clear plastic protection film and the rear bench is as-new, the Momo Corse wheel displays an original leather patina – free of grease or shine with good texture. Air con does make an appearance and blows ice cold alongside a sony stereo for entertainment if the driving experience wasn’t somehow enough. The carpets, gearbox tunnel and kick plates show no signs of entry wear and maintain excellent original integrity.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The engine bay still displays it’s original protective coating, and there is no discolouration to the rocker cover or associated plumbing. As you would expect the car starts on the button. The controls are light and easy to use with no excessive force needed at any stage – intuitive, slick and as it left the factory. Mechanically absolutely standard – no exhaust or engine modifications.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The timeless 16 inch factory Speedlines appear in excellent condition and are wrapped in matching premium Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres all round with plenty of tread. Brakes appear new and work as they should.
HISTORY FILE
This Integrale was built for the Japanese domestic market and was supplied on 07/07/1995 during the last production year of this Rally legend. It has been treasured from day one with regular servicing at 3512, 6050, 6209, 7967, 8300, 11,171, 14,233, 14,448, 18,216 and 22,400 with the current kilometre readout at 23,667 or 14,705 miles.
Imported early in 2016 the car is due UK registered with all taxes and duties already paid. Both sets of keys are present along with its original owners pack and manuals.
