I accepted the Lexus as part payment so I could sell my Mercedes clk I had for sale , at 5k...Iam  55 years old and although the Lexus is a nice car, itwould not have otherwise Appealed to me if not as part payment, it"s a young mans car, my son loves it !..but at 22 he cant afford to insure it.
When I got the car a short time ago it drove fine but, this is where the story begins...read on.
Last week, I took the car an errand and when I started the car to return home, the EML came on, the car was misfiring slightly on one cylinder.I booked the car in for a check and was told problem was fuel too lean on bank 1, attributed to either a MAF sensor, faulty coil, faulty injector, O2 sensorOr coolant temp switch...so where would I like to start.I was advised to change the spark plugs as due to cost are mainly overlooked.I purchased a new set of iridium ngk plugs...voila..the car drove like a f1 car...then, as you may see from pics, the Lexus being lowered, the exhaust caught the kerb as I was putting it into the drive and now it"s roaring from underneath, not too bad, my son now thinks it"s the bees knees !! And says he would leave it like that, sounds like a V8Now, garage man says will need to fix exhaust, before he can fix the misfire which has returned.strangely, when the new plugs were in, there was no codes on show or lights on dash and it done over 100 (sorry 70) mph on the motorway and it felt great.from last mot, advisories were front suspension rubbers on both sides ...well these are now needing replaced, as you feel a slight sound over drains and potholes,  could maybe do with a wheel bearing on front near side..this coupled with the exhaust repair and misfire..it"s being sold as I have lost interest...we run a small business and I will end up just putting the car to the local car auction, so here is your chance to buy it without a middle man.
The car owes me 1200 pounds, excluding money I"ve spent on it, so it"s damage limitation.if you are handy you will have the Lexus running sweet for little money, most time and effort and experience, all of which I"m short of.
I will accept 750 for the car, or may consider something in a deal...I like motorbikes. :-)i won"t accept or reply to ridiculous low ball chance offers, I"m not desperate.
Please no time wasters, we are all way too busy for that, however if you want to come and see the Lexus, then you are welcome, bring lights and scanners and manuals , everything and anything you want to test it...before buying, that"s fine by me, but please don"t buy the car and turn up hoping to diagnose and do repairs on my driveway, or negotiate. I"m a fair guy, I"ve told you all I know, I expect the same courtesy in return.
50 deposit would show good faith, via PayPal or bacs which I will provide you with.The car in my opinion drives okay, in fact not always does it misfire, so could probably drive you home, knowing my luck someone will spray it with some thing and it will be fixed.If you have less than 10 feedback or under 100 o/o then please contact me before buying if your interested.I am close to m74 motorway, south of Glasgow, in Scotland.

Must be a Cheap car. 750Ps already got questions, so to let you know, save repeats, the cylinder head gasket is fine, never has or doesn"t overheat even when left standing with engine on, no oil in water , vice versa, temp gauge works and car comes up to temp nicely, warm hot air via heater matrix..all good. Also been kindly informed that these cars hate supermarket fuel, mmmm !..I fuel up at morrisons, been told high compression engine runs best on high octane. If I get more info I will post it..thanks so far.
