This NO RESERVE listing is for my 2002 Lexus IS300 Sport. This is a one owner car from new.......which is me. I paid £32,700 from memory as it is the fully loaded Sport version with the larger 18 six spoke wheels and the leather up grade along with the body kit and spoiler which were all factory fitted.
I have decided to auction the car as I damaged the rear bumper and boot lid by reversing into a post. The MOT has expired and there are a few jobs that need doing which will be more suited to someone who is capable of doing it themselves rather than me having to put it into the dealer which I don"t think will be cost effect.
Positives first:
One owner car from new, I purchased from Lexus Manchester on Bury New Road on 30-10-2002Car has covered 122,000 milesThe engine is super smooth and super quiet.The car is extremely comfortable and quiet to drive, I have a 2010 diesel MERC CLS and a 2013 BMW M3 and this Lexus is the best all round car I have ever owned.....by far. It really is super smooth.The wheels are completely dent free and the facings are perfect. Inside the spokes need a bit of elbow grease to get them perfect.Leather interior in good used condition for its age
Negatives:
The car does not have an MOT. I can"t MOT it without sorting the body work and addressing the dash light.The engine management light is on which is an oxygen sensor that needs replacing. I believe it regulates the fuel and oxygen mix (engine runs perfectly despite the light being on)The drivers side rear wheel arch has some rust that wants addressing for cosmetic reasons. The sill has been plated previously for MOT purposes.The rear passenger side of the bumper and boot lid is dented as you will see in the pictures. The light cluster is perfect, intact and working absolutely normally.There are three key marks in the paint. I"m limited to the number of pictures I can put here but I have more if you require more detail.
All inspections welcome at either WA15 area or SK1 area which is home and work.
