WITH A PHOTOGRAPHIC ALBUM OF THE WORK CARRIED OUT TOGETHER WITH A FOLDER OF WORK CARRIED OUT.IT
IS ON WEBER CARBS AND A Lotus CHASSIS AND IS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE PROVING ITSELF A VERY RELIABLE LITTLE CAR.
This is a black badge model and is a Type 45 meaning it was ordered as a convertible from the factory and not a chopped FHC.The car has been subject to an older full nut & bolt restoration and in 1986 was fitted with a new Lotus galvanised chassis.The car always starts first time ,runs beautifully,doesn"t smoke and does not overheat.This is a proper Special Equipment ELAN with Special Equipment Cams ,Leather bound steering wheel signed by Colin Chapman,chrome wheel embelishers,chrome sill body flashes and strips a 3.5 diff and SE badges.The most recent work includes the following.
