Re listed due to a time waster who bid and disappeared. – now been removed from E-bay   This is a one off Lancia Fulvia Special and is based on a 1972 1.3 Coupe with 5 speed transmition. The car was built in 1983 and was purchased by me in July 2010 as a non runner on E-bay. The body shell is for an Avante which was a kit car produced in Stoke and intended to be fitted on to a VW Beetle chassis. The body is stunning , but I have to admit that the VW underneath was an issue given the price of the kit. The quality of the fibre glass is first rate and is thick. The chassis owes nothing as far as I can see to VW consisting of the entire front sub frame , engine / gear box from the donor Lancia and on that basis inherited its registration number as was the custom at the time. When I purchased the car it came complete with a full engine and a short engine, both sadly in parts. These are to be sold with the car and may prove useful in the future. I managed to purchase a replacement engine from a failed restoration on E bay and had intended to fit that to the car. The engine has been serviced ,- Oil, filter, fan belt, plugs, points, leads and the most expensive distributor cap I have ever purchased. It free and has compression, but I have never run it and its on an engine stand- thats included free with the car. The car has been sitting in my garage but sadly I lack the facilities to do the work the project requires. The car comes complete with. The car has been fitted with a battery and looking at the staines in the engine bay must have boiled up at some point. The radiator is in place complete with electic fan in the very nose of the car along with all pipe works terminating in the engine bay. I also found a package containing a full set of engine mounting rubbers that I purchased- these are added to the package.
