Land Rover Defender has a fully refurbished 300 TDI engine and R380 gearbox, (engine not done 10 miles since refurbishment), brand new high back seats, brand new cubby box, black chequer plate to wing tops, bonnet, door cards, and rear door, fitted with Dixon and Bate adjustable tow bar, front winch and winch bumper, (winch fully working), snow cover for air intake, snorkel, power steering fitted, A bar and spots fitted, 6x black wolf wheels and Michelin tyres, side lockers, and rear bumperetts. Chassis straight and never been welded. The vehicle has been hand painted with a roller and looks quite good, however being a 29 year old the bodywork has a few dings and dints here and there.The vehicle can not be exported to USA as its been fitted with a different engine, but it will export to the rest of the world, however should you want to do that, I"m not getting involved in it.
The vehicle is "E" reg, 1987, and I registered the vehicle so no previous owners. I was going to use this personally so I didn"t mind spending money on it. Its had a new speedo fitted as the last one was missing however I had documents that said the vehicle had done 37,000 kms, so this vehicle is a genuine low mileage 29 year old vehicle.
So Only Covered 25,000 Miles Since New !!!
This vehicle is currently in the garage having the chassis waxoyled, a complete set of new bushes fitted, the rear Sailsbury axle inspected and oil seals and gaskets changed, and the transfer box and linkage inspected and repaired or replaced.
