vehicle description:

I have owned this top spec Disco for approximately 18 months, it replaced my old 300tdi. In which time it has served me and my family well. I think it must be the HSE equivalent of its time as it has loads of extras. However, we have decided to upgrade to a Disco 3.
The body work is okay for its age. There are a few knuckle dents and some scratches. The front bumper is cracked and could do with either a plastic weld or a complete replacement. Just never got round to getting it done myself.
The Good
All internal electrics are working (bar sun roofs, which have been sealed to prevent leaks)
Steering wheel controls
Cruise control
Transfer box and low gears working fine  
Heated front seats, windscreen and wing mirrors (drivers wing mirror glass will need replacing)
Electric front seats
Full leather interior
7 seats (all mechanisms working)
Genuine Land Rover rubber mats
Gutter mounted  roof bars
Part service history and receipts (including recent major service)
Recently had new diesel pressure regulator and hoses changed  
Suspension airbags replaced recently
Long MOT, next  due 18th Dec 15 (lots of old MOTs to verify millage)
Side Steps
No rust holes in the frame, small rust hole in rear wheel arch are but this is not the main body. see pic
Appropriate millage for age  
The Niggles
Boost/kick down problem (drives perfectly when driving normally ie in town, but when boost is required for overtaking it is sluggish and also can struggle up very steep inclines) Still gets to motorway cruising speed just takes a little longer. Might just need a new turbo, have seen them on ebay between £160 and £400. 
Just recently it has developed a hit and miss starting issue but, so far it has never not started all be it 3 or 4 turns of the key required. Will either need new starter motor, battery or could even just be something simple like a loose connection)
Rear indicator lenses need replacing they have that orange tape over them for now.
Central locking issue (it works fine 9 out of 10 times on the key however, every so often it won"t unlock and I have to set the alarm off to unlock it with the button on the key)
Petrol filler cap does not lock completely shut but that has never bothered me, see pictures.
I have been as open and honest as I can be re our Disco. It"s not perfect but she is a 15 years old 4x4! She is still a good 4x4 and with some TLC and time could be someone"s perfect either family car or just a good solid work horse. She is currently SORN.
