Apologies to the 250 watchers but someone pressed the buy now then decided they couldnt afford it ??? so ive had to relist it and have removed this option and made it an auction.

It is a nice solid example of an ex Derbyshire Fire Brigade series one with its original registration.It is for sale with regret as I have a change of circumstance which means she is up for sale.The previous owner had it for 35 years.
 Over the years it has undergone several modifications. Windows in the hardtop. Fairey Overdrive AVM Free Wheeling Hubs Hazard Warning lights Halogen Headlights Heated Windscreen Inertia Reel Seatbelts (Driver and Passenger) Indicators with multi switch incorporating Horn push                                                                                                      Electric Screen Washers Parabolic Springs and extended shock absorbers Rewiring Trailer Socket Radio/CD player Separate Oil pressure and water Temperature guages
The original 2L petrol engine was replaced with an earlier 2L petrol ex Belgian Army rebuild. This has done about 24,000 miles although this does not show on the clock as a new speedo was fitted a few years ago. During the previous ownership the gearbox and back axle have been overhauled. The front brake components and pipes were replaced in 2012. The clutch was overhauled in 2013 and since then it has had a new coil, Stainless steel exhaust, Burlen Fuel pump, 4 new tyres, New points and condensor and a new 90ah battery. The chassis has been waxoiled every year. I Think the rear crossmember is a later one but I will add better pictures later.The bulkhead is galvanised so no issues there.The registration is original and really needs to stop with the vehicle it has its own value but the new owner will need to make assurances that the reg will remain with the vehicle to complete its history.I have a host of spares which came with the old girl and I am happy to include these along with photos and a folder of receipts it also has a current MOT and is Tax free the v5 is present and in my name ther is also a hood and stick set spare starter motor and dynamo
  I am happy to answer any questions She came back from a Land Rover garage today with a new transfer box seal and new panels atthe rear supplied by Radfords ,the rivets are temporary pop rivets so they can be removed to continuethe paint removal on the other cappings.correct dome rivets are here.As you can see the original redPaint can be seen on the chassis and this was my intention to return it to its former red glory Please no timewasters bank transfer or cash pleaseThanks Bob
