Selling on behalf of my father in law.
Unfortunately this Lexus is spares or repair as the head has gone porous and is leaking coolant into one of the spark plug wells. This is causing it to misfire on no. 5 cylinder. The head gasket has not gone and it has not over heated. Our mechanic thinks that it may possibly be seeping through one of the core plug bolts as they looked a bit corroded. Either way the head will have to come off to find out the extent of corrosion.
Once the the coolant is has been dried out and ECU fault codes erased, the car will run perfectly. But unfortunately only until the coolant seeps through again. It will start missing and throw up the fault codes!!
It is a shame as it is a fantastic car, but my father in law did not want to spend on it and has bought a new car now and just wants rid.
It will drive, but i would advise picking it up on a trailer just to be safe and not to cause anymore damage.
