I"ve owned this car for the last year, it was originally bought as a stop-gap pending buying another 7-seater, but I liked the Lexus so much I kept it longer than intended! It has a Lexus service history up to 60k miles, when it had its "big" service - that means the expensive spark plugs were changed, and are good for another 30k miles yet.
The car is in good condition throughout - there"s the odd mark on the body (its 10 years old remember!), the worst being a light ding/scuff on a rear wheelarch (the paint"s not broken though). The wheels are good, with the odd mark on them. Its the 6-speed auto, which is in the £290 a year road tax bracket (manuals are £500!), and has the steering-wheel paddles as well as a "manual" facility on the gearlever.
It has all the extras, as its the SE-L model - Mark Levinson sound system with multi-CD (plays DVDs too, of course) and integrated Bluetooth, full black leather heated/cooled seats, one-shot windows all round, electric steering column adjustment, climate control (cold!), full electric front seats, headlamp wash etc etc. I have the full book pack, 2 remote key fobs (recent new batteries) and the car is registered in my name. Everything works (being honest, the rear windscreen blind can be a bit temperamental), tyres are all excellent Avons -in fact the fronts haven"t even been fitted to the car yet - and I have a set of winter tyres too, these can be purchased seperately if required.
Just after I bought it, I had new rear brake discs and pads fitted as the discs were quite worn - I also had the calipers stripped and greased to prevent any sticking/seizing of the slider pins, a well-known weakness on these cars. It drives beautifully, very smooth in auto, goes like stink in manual mode, and it sounds nice too! I will put a full MoT on the car before sale.
