For sale... My 2000 Lexus ls400... awesome car.. last of the ls400"s, so has all the refinements and options you want.... NOT a £600 bag of nails with cut springs and loads of problems... if thats what you want this is not the car for you..
ill try and keep it brief... 
bad points...i) telescoping steering motor is weak and doesnt always work... doesnt affect driving at all.. most people tun it off anyway...ii) this is a 15 year old car bodywork/paint shows signs of this.. i.e. scratches, cracks, stonechips etc... although for its age it still looks good!  please see pics.. iii) thats it!
good points.. if you like this type of car... youll know a bit about what youre looking at.. late model ls400... so has the 5 speed auto box, sat nav, climate control ( yes, the air con works and is nice and cold..), leather seats, cd ( 6 cd in dash changer), cassette, radio... electric tilt "n" slide sunroof, electric mirrors that fold when you park, and tilt when you reverse... electric windows, heated seats front and back, cruise control, trip computer, traction/stability control, xenon lights, clear side repeaters, smoked rear lights, etc, etc.. and loads more that i cant remember....
because its the late model, its just shy of 300hp with vvti (variable valve timing..) the v8 engine runs beautifully, smooth and powerful... no fluid leaks or problems whatsoever... also, very importantly NO dash lights on,see pictures.. so no difficulties come MOT time...steering is light and easy, brakes are big and work real well!.. transmission shifts very smoothly.. no untoward noises at all.. mechanically the car is really really good...
it has 20 alloys with the correct bolt pattern and bolts for the car.. no bodging or dodgy adapters...
it has virtually brand new suspension i.e. less than 500 miles on it at present (that may go up as i do drive it now and then!:)...) It has £800 BC racing coilovers fitted front and back which can be adjusted up and down from its current setting.. the coilovers are adjustable for height AND have 30 setting damping adjustment...
and to top it off... it has lpg..  a decent romano system with its own ecu, this is the only type with rebuildable injectors i believe... fits and works extremely well... you can change over fuels manually or let it do it automatically for you once the car is warmed up... you dont notice at all when it swaps between the two... depends on fuel pricing but driving within the legal limits you get around 350 miles to £50 which is pretty good for a 4.0L v8!... tank is 120L which is a nice size... and as i mentioned before.. NO dash lights... even with the LPG.. its all works brilliantly...
so all in all a mechanically good, luxury, powerful car which can be driven reasonably cheaply, on virtually new, good quality, lowered suspension, with larger alloy wheels...
N.B. this car is LOWERED.. the suspension is setup to be stiff... you have to be careful when driving it to avoid large pot holes, slopes etc... you will ground out.... anyone who likes lowered vehicles will know this.. however, you can set it back to stock with the coilovers should you so desire the choice is yours.... i have the original alloys, fender guards, etc that will go with the car should the new owner want them...
i love him, but just dont have the time to use it these days, seems a shame to see it sitting there unused and unwashed!...
as it stands the car has half a tank of petrol and a full tank of gas... which is worth fair bit on its own... this will go down if and when i use it...
