This is truly an excellent example of a Lotus ELISE S1 in Metallic Racing Green and I"m not just saying that because I own it. It really has been a wonderful car.
I have owned this 2000 ELISE S1 since Feb 2007, my pride and joy for 9 years. I have loved driving it virtually every day and am only parting with it now because I have bought an Exige.
The car has been valued by a leading sport car specialist at £12,500 at this time with current MOT, no advisaries.To paint a picture of myself, I have owned and driven a Lotus for the past 32 years. I owned an Excel before the ELISE and before that my first experience of a Lotus was a 7 way back in 1984 and I still own it.
I am the fourth owner of this car. It has been regularly maintained either by a dealer or independent specialist.
The car passed its MOT on 11 July 2016 with no advisories.
Mileage is approx 85,500
It"s fitted with a hard top but comes with an easily fitted matching soft top and rollover bar cover.
I"ve tried to keep it standard but over the years have introduced sensible upgrades.
To protect the paintwork I had Armorfend fitted to the front and sides Stainless Steel front & rear grills. Uprated suspension, I had Gaz adjustable shock absorbers fitted Uprated Aluminium Radiator, New electric cooling Fan and hoses Hangar 111 Janspeed 4-2-1 exhaust manifold. De-cat pipe (catalytic converter supplied) 52mm throttle body. Cylinder head, gasket & Cam belt replaced last year New alternator fitted at the same time. Fitted with new discs & pads all round, Upgraded EBC Ultramax brake discs Braided Stainless Steel brake hoses Yokohama Advan Tyres Headlight covers and driving lights Interior:S2 dark red leather seats Aluminium window winders JVC face off Radio with remote controller and 12 CD Auto Change
There are just a couple of Negative points you should know about
Drivers door sill protector is worn in the usual place (see pic)
Small stone chips here and there but nothing major.
I would very much like this car to have a new owner soon as I don" t want it to be left standing. I"m using it every now and again to keep it running.
