LotusElan+2S130/5 Spyder Zetec Conversion, 1973. Genuine JPS Plus Two in the iconic Black with Gold livery. Confirmed by the Lotus Archivist that this is a genuine JPS edition. Subject of total conversion by Spydersport in Peterborough who are renowned for there Plus Two conversions. The cost of the conversion was around £32,000 in 2006 and with a number of upgrades since make the total nearer to £40,000. Smooth 5 Speed gearbox. Beautiful leather interior. Superb 2 Litre Ford Zetec power unit with the Emerald ECU, delivers lots of power (around 160bhp) throughout the rev range, making this an ideal Lotus for touring or everyday use. Comes with a new MOT and fresh service. Although the paintwork is nice and shiny, it has various blemishes on various panels and may require attention, but being fibreglass the paintwork is therefore stable and is purely a cosmetic item. Fully recommissioned and serviced with new cam-belt by Spydersport Ltd. in October 2017. Valued by Club Lotus in February 2018 at £35,000. A great car to drive.
