This is a good solid car that runs and drives fantastic (With a lot of history, and no MOT), I have been offered £3,960 from my local Lotus dealer (As is condition), post a full inspection that they have just carried out. The Lotusdealer have advised that the following work must be carried out to obtain an MOT (Note the prices below are from a ‘Lotus dealer’) see below. Once MOT’d the Lotus dealership are confident they can achieve £6,500 and if all the work was carried out they would expect to achieve a upwards of £8,000  Please note: I am selling this car as I am having an extension built over my garage and do not have anywhere to store the vehicle and or time.   Since I purchased this car (Approximately three years ago) I have only covered 187miles! In recent months I have had the following work carried out:
Recent works (Circa £1,000 spent) New Disks and pads front New pads rear New front tyres New Bosch 12v battery New turbo manifold New spark plugs, leads and distributor    MOT requires: Rear anti-roll-ball joint / rubber gaiter £84 (Has a split) Oxygen sensor £180 (To pass emissions and switch off engine light) Handbrake cable fitting (New cable included), rear callipers could need servicing (£90 each to replace)    Wiper blades £24 Plus labour costs   Other points, not required to pass MOT Drivers window will not drop down properly and jams (Common fault) Drivers door locks does not work with the key (remote locking works on fob only) Two hood splits, each approximately 2’’ long Dimmer switch not working Passenger sun-visor loose, glove-box handle catch missing Battery not holding charge if it sits for too long   Would strongly advise viewing, some light marks for a car of this age, please see photos. Note: This car will be sold as seen (No returns), does not come with an MOT and is collection only from Milton Keynes, avalible to collect once payment has cleared.
