This early example with the superior and desirable MMC brakes is in excellent condition inside and out, totally original and untouched, which is getting very rare these days. It has recently had a full cambelt and 6000 mile service at a former MG Rover Main Agent who knows these engines and cars inside out.
The seat is undamaged on the side bolster and there is no heel-hole in the rubber matting!! This lovely car has had just three previous owners from new, with last owner having owned the car since 2003. It drives superbly as you would expect, with 2 Remotes and keys, its original Lotus handbooks, and a full file of history.
Although not concourse this is an excellent original example of these superb sports cars which honour the true Lotus ethos of light weight,and outstanding chassis geometry to provide superb roadholding and performance in an affordable package.
