Cambelt and head gasket changed 6000 miles ago.
11 Months MOT until September 2016 (no advisories)
HPI clear
I have owned the car for seven years and but I have now bought a car to replace it.
S2 seats (far comfier than S1 seats)
S2 suspension
Janspeed exhaust
Folder full of invoices and every MOT from new.
In 2013 the suspension was refurbished with all the bushes and ball joints replaced. The roof has been refurbished in the last year.
All of the common parts that wear on these cars have been replaced/upgraded including:
Uprated clutch hose
Heater matrix replaced
Remote thermostat setup which is considered important to prevent the head gasket failing.
The head gasket was replaced as part of the cambelt service this was done purely as a preventative maintenance not because of overheating issues etc.
Short shift gear lever with upgraded linkage and bushes
All of the tyres have plenty of tread the rear ones have done 2000 miles at the most.
New brake pads all round earlier this year.
The car is in good condition for the age and mileage but there are a few points to note:
The is some crazing on the front clam and small split (about 20mm long above the grill) I have tried to photograph this but this does not stand out unless you know it is there. There is also a light scratch on the rear wing/arch which again I have tried to photograph. There is a bit of wear on the driver"s side sill pad (a common place for these to wear). There are a few bubbles in the paint work on the doors, again this is a common issue on Elises see the Lotusforums for more details.
No test drives without proof of fully comp insurance.
