The time has come to sell my Elise. I need to make room for another toy.
Its a 1999 S1 118bhp model in calypso red.
A very original car with the exception of a Larini Clubsport exhaust system, uprated grooved discs and greenstuff pads.
New Lotus callipers have also been fitted at the front and the rear.
Service history is full with a mix of Lotus and specialists having covered very few miles over the past couple of years.
Recent head gasket replacement due to noticing early signs of failure so I had it done just in case. The cambelt, waterpump and all other necessary gaskets were changed at the same time. Oil and filter was also refreshed. A one year warranty stands for the work carried out. 
Engine and gearbox are really smooth. It handles brilliantly and sounds fantastic.
The hood is in great condition with no rips or faulty stitching. 
The interior benefits from upgraded genuine carbon fibre door cards and door handle surrounds. There is an Alpine CD player with matching speakers and genuine Elise floor mats. The original cloth seats are in good condition with no holes and the bolsters look good.
Overall the bodywork is in great condition for its age. Being a red car you would expect some fading but this is not present. It polishes up really well. There are some light cosmetic marks as expected but nothing spoiling.
The wheels have been refurbished at some stage and still look good. Tyres have plenty of tread. 
I always keep the car garaged under a high quality Elise car cover. Ill include this in the sale.
There is a small crack in the windscreen (lower center) but will not fail MOT and is hardly noticeable.
