Lotus Europa S, 2.0 Turbo, 2007 model, in Magnetic Blue with black interior, 225 factory upgrade and Nitron NTR dampers. Push button start. HPI clear.
When I purchased the car in August 2015 it had only done a little over 52,500 Miles, and since then I have only added 1,384 Miles to the clock which is the reason for me selling it as I am not getting any use of it. It still has 11 months MOT remaining. (No advisories), Service History (Book stamped and invoices).
Last serviced on 10th February 2015 at Back on Track when it had the cam belt and water pump replaced. At the same time also had discs and pads all round, a Full Geo, a CV boot, a New battery and the Team Dynamic wheels were refurbed by Lepsons so are unmarked, since then as I have not done many miles therefore I have not had the vehicle serviced.
Since purchasing the Lotus, I have fitted it with a Vauxhall VXR turbo & manifold, as well as a new 3” stainless steel sports exhaust with a 100cell sports CAT. When fitting the above modifications, I replaced the turbo Actuator with a Forge Actuator and the standard plastic Dump Valve with an Aluminium one to stop the common Maintenance issues.
This beauty also benefits from a VXR Solid Flywheel and Clutch as well as having 2 new x O2 sensors and a K&N Air Filter.
With all of these extras added to the 225bhp upgrade, theLotus is pushing out far more BHP than what the Standard Europa’s produce, therefore this vehicle is not for the fainthearted.
NOTE: although I have added these upgrades to the vehicle I have not taken the Lotus on a single trackday, I simply felt that it was underpowered for the stance it was given.
The Bad Bits:
1) The previous owner must have used the vehicle to travel to work as the front clam has a fair amount of stone chips.
2) Due to the 100cell Sports CAT, the Engine management light is illuminated (Code error P0141). The vehicle runs perfectly fine with this error however it can simply be removed via a remap.
These minor issues are reflected in the price.
Lotus Europa’s are becoming vary rare and in a few years’ time I can see them potentially doubling in price (a very wise investment).
There is currently no Tax or Insurance, so please do not expect to come and view and have a joy ride.
I will only entertain serious cash offers, so please don’t expect me to reply if you offer to exchange it for your Saxo, or golf GTI etc.
