Lotus Excel SE 180BHP
The car was in storage (approx 10 yrs) and has since had substantial workj completed to bring it up to everyday use. It is now a joy to own and drive. I am selling due to moving to Germany and losing my garage space.
The work that has been completed includes;Full cambelt change, oil and fuel service including filtersBrake overhaulNew slave cylinder, overhauled master cylinder.New fuel pump, coil, distributor capOverhauled water pumpDash retrim, refurbished wheels, new head liner and surrounds.Full internal valetVarious small electrical items, trim details and ancillariesPartial resprayAll of the work, with the exception of the distributor cap was undertaken at Chris Foulds Lotus with receiptsSince the work has been completed I have taken the car into Germany and have being using it as often as possible. 
The car is the SE 180bhp (red top) model. Everything works, including the windows and power mirrors with the exception of the heater motor. The motor is seized, apparently a common problem. The passenger side bonnet catch is a bit temperamental and would ideally need a replacement cable. There are a few micro cracks around the bonnet vents as shown in the pictures.The bonnet gas strut no longer works.
