Dallara IR4-3 Indycar roller.
Driven up until 2010 in the Indycar series in the USA I was advised that this is the car Ed Carpenter drove to 8th in the 2010 Indy 500. Painted in early 2011 into the KV Racing Honda Lotus colour scheme and brought to the UK for the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed where it was displayed as part of the 100 years of Indycar. The car still carries the Goodwood Scrutineer label. Shown in 2015 at the Lotus Festival at Brands Hatch this car carries the Lotus Honda logos so could be used in a Lotus fans workshop or garage. The car is used as a Race car and still has certain parts such as brakes and brake pots on the steering rack
The wheels have polished alloy like a chrome finish and Bridgestone or Firestone Indy tyres. The gearbox is a shell and there is a frame under the engine cover. The car could be used again as a track car or left as a rolling show car. The car is stunning in the Metallic Green of the Lotus F1 team in 2011 and has been featured on Goodwood footage and photographs. A real race car and one that could be used for pit stop challenge work or photographic work. A real looker at a fraction of the cost of an F1 ex race car.
The car is situated in Leeds and viewing is strictly by appointment
