MERCEDES 280SL W107 1984. (silver) Automatic, power steering, electric windows. Four seat model. The mileage seems to be genuine, from the MOT mileages, with only very minor scuffing to the driver’s seat. The hard top is in very good condition, the soft top has 2 tears in the Perspex where they fold but still in good condition. The previous owner’s partner died in 2008 from then on she kept it garaged. She registered it in her name in 2009. The MOT cert. confirms the mileage for that period. It passed the MOT a few weeks ago and the Tester commented on how good the brakes were! It has a set of virtually new tyres on the flat-faced alloys. I would love to have kept it but it’s just too small for me and my frame! There is pitting on the boot locking chrome section and a couple of spots of raised paintwork on the driver’s door + some bubbling on the passenger front wing.(see pics) Apart from that she is pretty sound. There’s an updated radio / cdplayer with SD card and Ipod slots. The electric aerial works on the button. ThisMERCEDES starts instantly without hesitation on the turn of the key. The central looking clicks in immediately and the vacuum gauge Is working correctly and very good oil Pressure at all times. I have had the exhaust replaced this week with a full manifold back English manufactured stainless steel exhaust, with lifetime guarantee. Viewing is recommended. SE12 area.
