The car was previously restored to a high degree but the paint is starting to bubble in a couple of places, eg, small patch on the bottom of the driver’s door, a small patch on the bottom of the rear driver’s side door and a tiny patch at the back of the driver’s side on the rear arch but none of these distract from the look of the car.
Solid rear arches, sills and in the petrol pocket.
Overall in very good condition for a 28 year old car and can be used immediately if needed without any trouble at all.
Lovely smooth ride, an easy car to drive and will easily keep up with modern traffic.
The car has covered only 93,273 miles since new with old MOT’s to prove.
Comes with 2 sets of wheels, the original steel wheels with hub caps for originality and a set of MGF VVC alloy wheels that really set the car off. All in very good condition with good tyres.
According to ‘how many left’ there are only 11 MG Montego 2.0 efi’s left from 1988 and only 59 left in total pre face lift so a rare car in this condition.
The car does turns heads wherever it goes and this is a very reluctant sale but loss of storage and too many cars means this has to go.
