This is a lovely 3 owner MG TF 1.8 135 which has brought me many hours of pleasure this summer! Unfortunately the usual two excuses mean I can no longer keep, Company Car and Wedding.
This car in blue has been well looked after and is a lovely example of a low-mileage, few-owners TF. The vehicle was originally pre-registered during the demise of MG on 31st August 2004, before being acquired by its first proper owner just 25 days later on 24th September 2004. This owner was a true MG enthusiast, insisting on servicing the vehicle himself, in fact he has made his own notes in the service book demonstrating the work he has done. A new exhaust was fitted at 28,990 miles on 17th August 2012, he also fitted new brakes at 43,0571 miles on 15th August 2014.
When I purchased the vehicle it was immediately obvious in the 11 years that this gentleman owned the vehicle that it was garaged over winter. I purchased the vehicle on 7th April this year with a small ping dent in the bonnet, and a small bit of rust near the side air-intake. Both are easily treatable. I have invoices for a new Cambelt and Waterpump fitted at 47,638 miles on 24th June 2015 and it was given an MOT on 20th August 2015. As far as I am aware there has never been any work done on the head, but in my ownership it has never had a heat issue and my theory is if it ain"t broke don"t fix it. It has accompanied me on plenty of long and short journeys but was only used as a second car, rarely for commuting.
This car has been looked after, and I am very sad to see it go. I am under no duress to sell, and would like to see it go to the right home. Hence, I haven"t slapped it on AutoTrader for a pound less than everything else! I hope this brings the new owner much satisfaction, I am happy to answer any queries you may have. Always happy to let anyone view the vehicle.
