For auction is my 2003 MG TF 115 Sunstorm SE. This is fantastic example in black of this sought after 2 seater roadster convertible. I"ve had this for over 5 years now and I"m only the 3rd owner from new. It"s been on the cards to sell for the last couple of years. However, each time I decided to MOT it and keep it. But I"m not using it as much now and it"s time to sell it for someone else to get some good use out of it.
The is 1 of the Sunstorm Special Edition range of MG TFs and only 500 were made. It"s ideal to use all year round due to the hardtop, not just the summer. Although that"s when it"s most fun!
To try and be as honest as possible, here are some note worthy things to mention:It has had a new head gasket in the past (typical of the k series engines). Invoice proof included. So this problem should be solved, but I"m not a mechanic so it"s worth mentioning that this is a potential issue with all cars with the k series engines.There was a slight issue with the passenger side central locking but I *think* this is sorted now. Although, it may be temperamental. Worth pointing out though, and even if it does turn out an issue it simply needs a new locking motor sold for around the £20 mark on eBay).I"ve rarely used the softtop due to the hardtop being on most of the time and taken off on hot days. But as far as I"m aware the softtop is in good condition and has been in great working order when I"ve used itI would recommend the new owner have an oil and spark plug change. It"s only been used occasionally over the last couple of years so even though it drives well and hasn"t done the mileage for a service no doubt it should have one now and wouldn"t do it any harm.This is for sale elsewhere too so this auction may be taken down early if sold.
