Welcome to this auction for my wife’s MG ZS.
I got this car for my wife in 2013 to replace her Astra that was written off in an accident. However due to her injuries she was never really comfortable driving it, so spent most of the time driving my bigger more comfortable ZT. So after the insurance finally paid out her compensation she purchased another Vauxhall, so for the last few months the ZS has been parked up on SORN. The MOT expired early DEC 2014 but with xmas we didn’t bother renewing, however booked her in yesterday and she passed so now MOT’d till Jan 2016. The only advisories relate to the brakes binding, and this has been put down to the car been laid up without use.

Looking back through the history this car has undergone the very important MLS head gasket upgrade so plenty of worry free motoring to be had from this future classic.
 
As for the not so brilliant parts,
As to be expected from anything made in Cowley or Longbridge the drivers seat bolster has rips (pictured). There is a scratch on the bootlid (also pictured, looks like key envy)
The drivers window runner needs replacing as window keeps popping out every now and then, replacement part through ebay is £30, and this has been taken into account already in the price.
Both the front and rear enamel MG badges have faded (trying finding ones that haven’t), cheaper replacements can be found on ebay – but  most are inferior vinyl and not enamel.
 
The Z seriesMG’s are becoming more accepted within the classic car movement now, so take this chance to grab a cheap, affordable, future classic now before the prices rise further.
This car look stunning when polished up in the sun. she will be cleaned prior to going - as long as the weather is reasonable this weekend.
