I have owned this particular MG ZT CDTi+ for some 10 year now. Purchasing the car new in 2005, it was a Pen Dragon pre-registration vehicle following the MG Rover group falling into administration. Having covered only 60k miles to date, with all previous MOT’s supplied, this is a reluctant sale, however, due to medical reason, the car has to go.
Garaged from new, the body work and paint is an exceptional condition. It has never suffered from any accident damage, and the metallic pearl black paint is totally original. Maintained, washed and waxed using only autosmart products.
The seating is Summit grey and black twill with black half leather bolsters and Gunsmoke stitching. With with the exception of the driver’s seat, both the front passenger seat, and the rear seating have not been used, at all. These seats are in as new condition. This can be verified by looking closely and inspecting the available pictures. The driver’s o/s bolster on the seat base is worn and suffered a little damaged, I have included a picture. If this part of the bolster was repaired, the complete seat would look as new again. The rest of the interior, roof lining, dash, door cards, and carpets are immaculate. Food has never been consumed in this car, and it has never been smoked in.
The alloy wheels are genuine MG 18” Grind spoke which have recently been totally refurbished and fitted with new tyres. All the disk and pads was replaced as they rears was looking a little rusty, they have been subjected to little since.
The BMW Td4 engine is capable of a trouble free 200K miles of motoring, having only covered 60k miles from new, there is plenty of life left in this engine. Serviced regularly, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, crank case filter and pollen filter have always been regularly changed. This engine has never been chipped, I didn’t purchase this vehicle as a sport car, so I have never wanted to squeeze additional bhp from it. I have removed the erg valve and replaced it with a bypass unit.    
Although every MG ZT advertised for sale past and present are advertised as a + model. They are not an actual + model, this was an optional extra package totally £1150*

The car drives exceptionally well, just as it did when new, and the vehicle still feels as tight as it did when I drove it out of the showroom. No expense has been spared on either purchasing, or maintaining this car. I am confident this vehicle will provide a new owner with a decade on excellent motoring.   I have, and will include in the sale of the car the original bill of sale, MG supplied owner’s manual, service book, MG and Rover sales brochures, including the MG optional price list, and all are in mint condition.
