Re-listed due to time-waster. This is a lovely classic car in British Racing Green with black soft top. The car is free of any rust or paint bubbling and is a superb example. The engine runs as sweet as a nut and the tyres are good and it has a new Bosch battery. The soft top is in good condition and a new rear window has been fitted. However, when parked in a cathedral visitor car park for a short while last year, a driver reversed into it causing some damage to the offside headlight glass and side wing panel nearest to the headlamp ( shown in photograph ). I have sourced a replacement original headlamp glass and original side wing panel in the exact same colour ( worth £120 ) - these are included in the sale. I had intended to replace the wing and headlamp glass myself but my work commitments have not allowed me the time to do this and the car is now taking up valuable space in my garage, so I thought that someone who is an MGF enthusiast, might like to do this and return this eye-catching sports car to the road. The car is currently on SORN ( DVLA Statutory Off Road Notice ) and the MOT expired in April 2016 ( it simply ran out ). This is a genuine sale of a truly lovely British sports car.
