Service history.
MOT to Sept 2017 (no advisories at last test).
5 speed manual gearbox
V5 present and in my name.
Towbar + single electrics (has been used only a couple of times to tow a small trailer).
MG/Rover Alpine head unit + 6 CD autochanger (plus steering wheel controls).
Half leather interior in very good condition (except the usual MG wear on driver"s seat bolster).
Electric windows all function normally.
Tyres all have plenty of life left in them.
Body work in reasonable condition, no dents. (Some paint flaking from bottom of driver"s door, see photo).
MG/Rover 75 handbrake modification has been done (prevents compensator stretch, a common MOT fail).
Rear brake calipers have new pistons, seal and rubbers.
Recent exhaust back box.
Oil & filter service in last 4000 miles (service interval 12000).
Engine coolant changed (post oil cooler replacement).
Rear underside of car has been anti-corrosion treated.
Front and rear discs have been replaced in the past 18 months.
Clutch replaced approx 8,000 miles ago.
Clutch master cylinder replaced recently.
Spark plugs replaced approx 4,000 miles ago.
Spares to come with car:
2 x handbrake cables.
Refurb kit for front brake calipers (pistons seals & rubbers).
New brake pad wear sensor assemblies.
I"ve had this car for 6 years and have done 33000 miles in it. It is great fun to drive and I had intended to keep this car as a rolling restoration project but, time and space have prevented this (the Mrs won"t let me keep this and my bike!).
I need to say a reluctant goodbye to her, as I"m picking up a new car soon.
