Taken in today in part exchange is a 2000 Mitsubishi LANCER EVO VI TOMMI MAKINEN EDITION BLACK FITTED WITH A RARE VARIS BODY KIT. The car was imported from JAPAN in September last year which i have the papers for. It is a 2.0L petrol running about 320bhp, 5 speed manual, it has the full VARIS body kit which is super light weight, 17 5 spoke black OZ racing alloys and has upgraded BREMBO brakes, callipers and new discs. Milage is 155008 km (km as its a import from Japan).
With this being a EVO 6.5 TOMMI MAKINEN edition it has a series of upgrades that the regular 6 didn"t have which includes; a bigger Turbo and this particular car has the EVO 9 actuator, shorter shift points on the manual gearbox, the official TOMMI MAKINEN Recaro seats, the gearstick surround stitched in red, TOMMI MAKINEN floor mats, a custom exhaust and obviously the badge on the rear. There are other upgrades the TOMMI MAKINEN cars had but those are the only ones i can name but I"m sure true enthusiasts will know of more.
This car has the genuine chassis stamp under the bonnet to prove it is a TOMMI MAKINEN.Inside is a 3 spoke OMP black leather race steering wheel, OFFICIAL TOMMI MAKINEN Recaro race seats two tone black suede with red fabric, black leather TOMMI MAKINEN gearstick surround with the red stitching, black interior throughout the whole car, metal race pedals and climate control. The car has extra gauges including a Turbo boost gauge, water temperature gauge and a oil temperature gauge, also the instrument cluster has the red dials and numbers. Other extra features include a Turbo cooler device, speedometer device, Coil overs with camber adjustments and a carbon fibre strut bar at the engine bay. 12v power socket, all 4 electric windows and heated windscreens.
The car comes with X2 keys, past 2 MOT since import, loads of previous bills and history which is great to see, i have the official import papers and it is MOT until August 2018.
This car is great, body work is really good there are a few marks on some of the carbon fibre parts and a few scratches here and there but for its age i think its great. Interior has been looked after there is a small bit of wear on drivers seat as you can see on pictures but other than that its really nice i have still yet to give it a good hoover. It is a blast to drive its hard to keep out of it, there are no faults with the drive its very precise and reliable I"ve had no problems its been great to drive.
