Maserati 3200 (manual).
Private sale.
63k miles.
12 months MOT.
3 keys, including the important red key.
Full service history, main dealer up to 30k, Maserati specialist from then.
Cam belts last done at 58k miles.
Clutch replaced at 62k miles, also had new release bearing and pressure plate. This was carried out by emblem Ferrari. Also had a new starter motor at the same time, the old one was ok but they said they are a weak spot and there is good access while changing the clutch. Also had a full service at the same time.
I have kept the original clutch, to be re-surfaced as these are no longer available.
Three out of four of the lower wishbones have been replaced, (these have to be changed when the ball join wears out) this is a very common problem and something to look out for when purchasing a 3200, as they cost £1500 each! I have two spare good wishbones and one worn.
Vinyl wrapped in ice white, with black wheels give her a really modern lift, with the private plate people think its a new car.
Always garaged.
Immaculate rust free bodywork.
Immaculate white leather interior.
Full stainless steel exhaust with sports back boxes.
Green twin induction kit. (I still have the original air boxes and filters).
The head unit has been replaced with a pioneer, however I still have the original Becker Nav radio (working when removed).
I love this car, but I never drive it. It needs to go to somebody who not only loves her, but will drive her too.
Bad bits:
Error light on dash (sometimes), this is caused by a sticky actuator on the Ferrari active suspension, Emblem said this was likely to be due to lack of use.
It did have an engine check light, I had this diagnosed as a lambda sensor fault and had the fault code cleared, but did not replace the sensor. So please bear in mind that it may require a new lambda sensor in the near future.
One of the front upper ball joints has slight play, these are only £150, and easily replacable.
Front tyres are close to the legal limit but passed the MOT.
